Senior Audit Associate

As a Audit Senior, you will:
Identify issues and effectively apply accounting principles/auditing procedures
Prepare clear, concise, and neat work-papers with complete conclusions including meaningful and well-written recommendations
Develop positive working relationships and display ability to cross-sell opportunities among existing clients
Perform other accounting duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by managers
Train and develop Staff Accountants
Communicate with managers, partners, and clients

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Master’s in Accounting is preferred.
CPA Certified or the eligibility to work towards obtaining a CPA license.
3+ years of experience in public accounting.
Willing to assist with tax during offseason
Proficiency with personal computers including spreadsheet software programs. Experience with ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, and/or Engagement is a plus.
Participate in recruitment of new and experienced staff

Senior Tax Manager

As a Senior Tax Manager, you will:
Develop and sustain excellent client relationships with current and potential clients of the Firm
Perform technical review of tax returns with varying complexity, including 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1040,1041 and 990
Identifying, researching, and recommending creative solutions to complex client issues
Be a resource to the Firm’s clients for complex transaction and explaining the tax implications of those transactions
Monitor economic performance of engagements, tax projects, deadlines, and tax-law changes
Manage the processing of tax returns and the dissemination of returns to preparing staff.
Develop community relationships, referral relationships, potential customers, and external organizations to attract new business.
Act as the point of contact for major software discussions, communications with software providers and communications with outside tax experts

Strong technical accounting skills with a focus on tax regulations
Strong management skills
Proficiency in using CCHAxcess Tax or similar accounting software
Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
Financial acumen to understand the impact of taxes on business operation
CPA and/or EA Certified
5-7+ years of experience in public accounting
